Volunteering

ErinoakKids offers our Volunteers opportunities to gain new skills, interact with our clients and meet new people. 

During the school year, Volunteers assist in therapeutic programming through the day; participate in evening and weekend programs, special events and day-to-day administration.  During the summer months, Volunteers may assist with therapeutic or recreational camps, multidisciplinary programs, administrative support and other activities.

Volunteer Services recruits, screens and trains qualified and caring Volunteers from our community.  Volunteers are integral members of our team and work collaboratively with staff.  Volunteers augment, but do not replace, services provided by staff.  Volunteers share their talents and abilities to enhance the quality and quantity of services provided to our clients. 

Volunteers are treated with professionalism and respect.  They are provided with training and guidance to perform well in their role at ErinoakKids and to get the most out of their volunteering experience.
