Until further notice, autism services offered through our Brampton site will continue to be provided virtually (only). This is a continuation of measures announced December 1, in order to maximize the health and safety of clients, families and staff. We will continue to monitor the situation. Any updates, including details of when we are able to return to in person autism services at our Brampton location, will be posted on our website
as soon as the information is available.
We encourage parents to consider trying one of the virtual autism service packages we offer.
December 01, 2020
Please be advised that effective immediately, clients accessing autism services who attend the Brampton site will be provided with these services virtually (only). Given the intensity, length and continuous close contact requirement of autism therapy sessions, a temporary pause on in-person services has been implemented, as an additional measure, to maximize the safety of clients, families and staff at a time of high levels of COVID-19 in the Brampton area. This pause will be in effect for the month of December. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with families, in the hope that by January 2021 case levels have stabilized to the point that on site autism services can be re-instituted at Brampton. Meantime, we encourage parents to take advantage of the availability of high quality, virtual services for their children. Stay safe and be well, everyone.

MISSISSAUGA – November 24, 2020 – ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development has partnered with Superfan Nav Bhatia to raise awareness and understanding of autism support services available to children and their families. Superfan Nav Bhatia, South-Asian Canadian entrepreneur, was sincerely inspired by the warmth and quality of services provided at ErinoakKids during his visits to two Erinoakkids sites earlier this year. Recognizing the lack of knowledge and conversations about autism care that may exist in communities in need of such supports, he encourages families to have honest conversations and be open to seeking the right support to help their children achieve their fullest potential.
