This program is already running in Waterloo, Toronto, London, Ottawa and Guelph, and now we have the opportunity to bring it to Brampton & Mississauga!
In cooperation with ErinoakKids, we areSkateABLE is offering a FREE opportunity for children with physical and developmental disabilities to try a "learn-to-skate" class.
The trial session happens in the spring, with a view to setting up lessons in the fall. Skaters work with volunteers on a 1:1 basis.
All adaptive equipment (walkers, harnesses) is supplied. Skaters must provide their own non-adaptive equipment (ie. figure or hockey skates and a CSA approved hockey helmet)
