Medically Fragile Technologically Dependent Respite Day Camp
COVID-19 Measures
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are unable to accept children/youth with the following needs at this time:
- suctioning
- high flow oxygen
- aggressive behaviour(s) towards others that require frequent assistance
Also, please note that there is now mandatory health screening at ErinoakKids sites for all staff, clients and visitors. There is a limit to one parent entering the site with their child.
A respite camp for children who have the enhanced respite funding, and are identified as Medically Fragile Technologically Dependent (MFTD). Currently, there is only the day camp option that families may register their child for.
Age: birth to age 18
Open to: Children identified by the LHIN Care Coordinator as medically fragile and/or technologically dependent (MFTD) and living in their home with their parents in Peel, Halton or Dufferin are eligible for the Respite Camp.
Location: The Giampaolo Foundation Clinical Site (Brampton). The site houses a 26-bed regional respite centre that inlcudes two wings: The Brannon Family Aspen Lodge and The Birch Lodge

Non-Medically Fragile Technologically Dependent Respite Day Camp
ErinoakKids’ Respite Day Camp Program is for children living in the Peel/Halton/Dufferin Regions who are considered Non Medically Fragile, Technologically Dependent and receive Enhanced Respite Funding.
Age: birth to 18
