Saturday Day Respite

This is a day-long respite held on Saturdays for children who present with significant behaviour challenges.

Important Note

It is mandatory that all clients aged 5-11 have their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine prior to attending and any clients aged 12+ are required to have three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Age: 6 to 18 years of age

Open to: clients living in Peel or Halton region with challenging behaviour needs, autism, and other developmental disabilities that make it difficult to access community based programs. 

Ratio: Generally 1:1

Availability: There is a wait list of approximately 12 months.

Location: The WB Family Foundation Clinical Site (Mississauga) or The Giampaolo Foundation Clinical Site (Brampton) and our Oakville site.

Referral: This program is by referral only. Clients must be referred by either an ErinoakKids clinician or one of our Community program partners.
