Respite services at ErinoakKids are available to families caring for children, youth and young adults with complex health needs at our Regional Respite Centre in Brampton. Clients must have received two COVID vaccines, reside in the province of Ontario and live at home.
Information on available respite program options, associated eligibility criteria, referral process, costs, referral forms and pre-admission forms is included below. To register, please choose the program that best reflects the needs of your family, download and fill out the associated referral form and pre-admission form, and then submit your forms here.

Important note: If your family member has a tracheostomy or an antibiotic resistant organism such as MRSA, VRE, or c-difficile, please contact Respite Administration at 905-855-2690 ext. 2273 before submitting a referral form.
Eligibility Criteria: Children aged 0 to 18 identified by a Home and Community Support Services care coordinator as qualifying for Enhanced Respite Funding, living at home in Peel, Halton or Dufferin region.
Eligibility Criteria: Children aged 0 to 18 living at home in Peel, Halton or Dufferin region with significant physical, developmental or neurological disabilities, including the presence of challenging behaviour.
Eligibility Criteria: Adults 18+ with significant physical and developmental disabilities requiring nursing supports; living at home in Ontario.
