Respite Services

Respite is one of the most critical services required by families with a child with special needs. To respond to this need, ErinoakKids operates various camp options. The respite camp provides short periods of parenting relief for children who are receiving Enhanced Funding and/or have complex care needs.

Caring and qualified nurses and program assistants care for children while at a respite camp. Children participate in activities such as music, swimming, arts and crafts, Snoezelen Room play, and outdoor time.

If you haven't yet filled out the Respite Services Application, click here. This form must be completed every 2 years.

We estimate that it will take about 30 minutes to complete the form. We recognize that this is a big time commitment, but the information you share will help our team make Respite Camp a positive experience for your child. As long as you don't close your browser window, you do not need to complete the entire form in one sitting.

Respite services are currently closed until May 28. Please check back for updates.

Did you know?

Did you know that children who are blind learn about the parts of objects first because that is what they feel with their hands as they explore?  Children who are able to see learn about an object, such as a chair, then learn about the parts of the object, such as the seat, back and legs.
