Respite is one of the most critical services required by families with a child with special needs. To respond to this need, ErinoakKids operates Saturday Day and overnight Respite Camp options. The respite camp provides short periods of parenting relief for children who are receiving Enhanced Funding and/or have complex care needs.
Caring and qualified nurses and program assistants care for children while at a respite camp. Children participate in activities such as music, swimming, arts and crafts, Snoezelen Room play, and outdoor time.
