Artificial Intelligence (AI) at ErinoakKids

ErinoakKids is piloting the use of Artificial Intelligence tools to improve clinical and administrative efficiency across some of our programs and services. 

As we explore the exciting opportunities presented by AI, we are committed to using these tools in a responsible, professional, ethical, and lawful manner. Our approach is guided by our values of excellence, integrity, inclusion and collaboration. The use of AI at ErinoakKids complies with our privacy policy, and with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and all applicable privacy legislation.

Descriptions of the types of AI used at ErinoakKids, and their associated terms of use, will be posted here as they are introduced. The first is Scribe, used for documentation.
